How the business started

CCTV Installer Essex has been working across the county since 2014, twelve years of security systems for homes, shops, small offices and property upgrades around central Essex. The same problems kept coming up: cameras positioned where they captured very little, recorders nobody had been shown how to use, and systems assembled from mismatched equipment that never quite worked together.

The response was to build a local service around a simpler idea: understand the property first, explain the options in plain language, then install equipment that solves the actual security problem rather than the one that happens to be easiest to sell.

Accredited, insured and accountable

We are an SSAIB certificated firm. SSAIB inspects the companies on its register against recognised standards for security installation, and it is the certification most independent CCTV and alarm installers in the UK work under. If you are ever asked by an insurer who fitted your system, that certification is what they are looking for.

We carry public liability insurance on every job, and we will send you the certificate before work starts if you want to see it. Our workmanship is warranted for 12 months from completion, on top of whatever warranty the equipment itself carries.

We answer every enquiry within 24 hours. If a system has stopped recording and you need someone quickly, say so when you call and we will tell you honestly how soon we can get to you.

How we work
